Ms. Alexis
Alexis has a Bachelors in Childhood Education from Loyola University and a Dual Masters in Childhood Special Education and Literacy from Pace University. She is a certified literacy specialist from birth to 6th grade and a certified general and special educator from 1st to 6th grade.
Alexis began teaching in 2015 and since then has taught reading, writing, and math to students between the ages of 2.5 and 10. She is passionate about the work she does and has dedicated her career to researching the best ways to help children be successful learners. She understands that children learn in many different ways and is excited to provide a variety of tools to help children become lifelong learners.
It is important to Alexis that her students love learning and have fun while doing it! She takes the time to get to know her students, their interests and what motivates them. She believes that every child is capable and is passionate about helping them reach their fullest potential.
