Ms. Luna

Luna is a dedicated educator bringing five years of invaluable experience in early literacy to the Los Angeles team. Her teaching journey began in Detroit, MI, where she served as a kindergarten and first-grade teacher. Luna is certified in Elementary Education and holds a Master’s in Educational Leadership & Policy from her alma mater, the University of Michigan. Recognizing the profound impact of individualized and play-centric teaching methods, Luna transitioned to private tutoring during her time in Miami, Florida, to further refine her skills.

With a 70-hour Orton-Gillingham Training under her belt, Luna is actively pursuing certification to offer impactful, multisensory tutoring that complements The Alexander Reading Method. Her empathetic and family-centric approach is rooted in the belief that it takes a village to raise a child. Through explicit and empowering reading literacy instruction, Luna strives to build self-confidence in her students and their families, empowering them to thrive in all aspects of life.
